Abstract The study outlined the justifications importance of protected areas to conserve the biodiversity. The major objectives of the study were to give a general look to the current status of wildlife in Libya and also to look in protected areas system. In addition, examining the national wildlife legislations and to compare them with the new concepts of biodiversity conversation. The study deals with the current situations of the wildlife resources in Libya, a description of the major ecological zones and species found in each protected area is listed. The conclusion of this part indicates unpleasant situation, particularly of medium and large size species and many species had extinct or in their way to extinction. However, the situations vary from zone to zone. The research also shows that most protected areas had carried studies on Biological diversity. The study examined the protected areas systems, in which lists of protected areas for each region is given, including to the information of area, date and objective of the establishment of each protected area. The research concluded that there is no uniformity between different protected areas in the region that need harmonizing and standardization but a promising movement towards the inclusion of new sites in the region to increase the areas of the protected areas to the recommended international standards. The study illustrated the legislations that control wildlife and protected areas institution. A list of the major laws and regulations is given in Libya. In addition, to a brief summary of the organizations, institutions that administer wildlife in the conservation aspects. arabic 7 English 37

Abstract: Traditional teaching practices and classroom do not promote many opportunities for the students to participate in the classroom or speak in the classroom rather they are like one way traffic. The teacher plays an active role and teaches deductively throughout the course. It is regarded as the silent skills which can be learned automatically by the students. But the reality is reading is one of the important receptive skills of the language which enables students to learn or acquire other important skills of the language. It is like the soul of the language which fills the entire body with positive energy. So it is equally important to understand the importance of the reading skills in teaching and learning and develop the techniques and strategies of pedagogy which will make the learning process easier. Strategies are often applied by the teachers and used by the learners to obtain the intended meaning of the text which they read. The paper intends to promote a practical application of classroom pedagogy to teach reading skills using activity-based teaching. It also emphasizes how different strategies of teaching reading and techniques can be used or utilized in teaching through different activities. الهدف من هذه الدراسة معرفة أهم التقنيات الحديثة المستخدمة في العملية التعليمية والتي لها الأثر الكبير في تطوير العملية التعليمية ومدى استخدامها, والاطلاع على أهم المقومات والدوافع التي تؤيد فكرة توظيف تقنيات المعلومات في التعليم والتعليم الالكتروني, وأيضاً التعرف على أكبر التحديات التي تعرقل التوظيف الأمثل لتقنيات المعلومات, ومعرفة الأسباب وراء ذلك والبحث عن الحلول لها. نظم إدارة التعلم كنظام البلاك بوردBlack Board على سبيل المثال من شأنه حل جُل مشاكل الجامعة الإدارية والتعليمية والعلمية، خصوصاً مع الزيادة الملحوظة في أعداد الطلبة الراغبين في الانخراط في التعليم الجامعي. حيث تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي المتمثل في الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة، باعتبارها أداة لجمع البيانات، حيث تضمنت (60) فقرة، والتي طبقت على (70) من أعضاء هيئة تدريس وطلبة لكليتي التربية قصر بن غشير وتقنية المعلومات بجامعة طرابلس الليبية، كعينة للدراسة، والتي تم اختيارها عشوائياً. وتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام التكرارات والنسب المئوية ,وأظهرت النتائج النهائية للدراسة أن توظيف تقنية المعلومات في أغراض التدريس في التعليم العالي في ليبيا مازال في مراحله الاولى، ولازال يواجه جملة من التحديات تتمثل في ضعف البنية التحتية، وما ينتج عنها من ضعف خدمات الجامعة وخدمات الإنترنت، وعدم توفر معامل الحاسوب في بعض الكليات، بالإضافة لقلة الخبرات والكوادر المؤهلة تقنياً، وغياب دور مراكز الدعم الفني، بالإضافة الى قلة الثقافة وعدم الدراية بنظم إدارة التعليم الحديثة كنظام البلاك بورد ...الخ. إن عملية التوظيف الأمثل لتقنية المعلومات في العملية التعليمية بالجامعات يجب أن تسبقها خطوات جادة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والجهات التنفيذية للجامعات، لاتخاذ قرارات تدعم هذا التوظيف بطريقة حديثة تواكب متطلبات العصر
