هدف البحث التعرف علي أساليب المواجهة التي ينم اتباعها من قبل الآباء والامهات التعامل مع الضغوط النفسية المترتبة عن اصابة احد الابناء بالإعاقة أياً كان نوعها حركية أو سمعية أو بصرية أو ذهنية ، وخلصت الدراسة إلي أن الاباء والامهات ليس لديهم دراية بأساليب مواجهة الضغوط النفسية الناتجة علي ولادة طفل من ذو الاحتياج.
