This study deals with the subject entitled "The Archive Documents: Study of the current situation and develop a vision to establish a National Archive in Libya، We used descriptive analytical method as an optimization، where data were collected throughout the literary subject، and a questionnaire interview form is designed as a main tool for data collection and addressed to directors of centers – subject of the study، in addition observation through the field visit. The study aimed to remove the confusion and uncertainty about the Archive terminology and its importance، and recognize the reality of the centers where the archives are preserved that it doesn't work same as the National Archives state، as it is normally required. The study had reached to a number of results، mainly are: the lack of clarity of vision for the functions and requirements and benefits of the national Archives of the State in terms of decision-making regarding fateful scientific، practical and historical decisions and that both centers of the study don't satisfy the conditions of the National Archives in terms of location and area of the building and its facilities and man-power-staff. One of the main recommendations is the necessity to establish a National Libyan Archive which will be able to keep all the contents of the archive and documents which were preserved and kept in both centers - subject of the study – and other centers which are scattered in other areas in Libya، and to be considered a national property to the state.

This paper is presented an algorithm for testing primality of a large number in faster way and low storage space. Today the almost techniques which are used for testing the primality of the large number are struggling to reduce the cost of both processing time and storage space. Therefore, an intensive research by mathematicians and computers scientists is going in this field. The suggested algorithm is based on using of solutions of the quadratic equation (QE). The technique is aiming to find any two distinct numbers which are representing the obtained two roots of the QE. If these two roots are exist, in this case the given integer is not prime and the algorithm can identify the two roots in efficient cost of time and storage. The algorithm has appeared that it is working well by producing fantastic results. From these results, new ideas and thoughts have been listed for further analysis and discussion for testing of the primality of numbers

تهتم هذه الدراسة بموضوع الأمية المعلوماتية بالمجتمع الجامعي بكلية الآداب بجامعة الفاتح، و تهدف إلى التعرف على مظاهر و أسباب الأمية المعلوماتـية لـدى طـلاب الكلـية، و التعرف على المهارات المكتبية و البحثية و التقنية و اللغـوية التي يمتلـكها طـلاب الكـلية، و الوقـوف على دور أمـين المكـتبة في انتشار أو علاج هذه الظاهرة، و الوقوف على العوائق التي يواجهها الطالب الباحث عن المعلومات في مجال تخصصه، و قد استخدمت الدراسة منهج المسح ) Survey ( و الذي يعتبر واحدا من المناهج الأساسية في البحوث الوصفية، حيث تم اختيار عينة عشوائية طبقية من طلاب كلية الآداب بفئتيهـا ) طلاب دراسة جامعية، و طلاب دراسات عليا ( بجامعة الفاتح، و بلغ عددها ) 347 ( من طلاب الدراسة الجامعية، و ) 163 ( من طلاب الدراسات العليا. وخلصت الدراسة إلى نتيجة مفادها انتشار الأمية المعلوماتية بين طلاب الكلية، بسبب عدم وجود توعية لطلاب الكلية بفئتيهما لأهمية البحث العلمي، و تسجيل جميع مراحل البحث و تقييمها و تنظيم المعلومات الناتجة عن العملية البحثية، و عدم توفر مهارات لغوية و تقنية لدى طلاب الكلية، و أن أكثر الفروق التي ظهرت بين طلاب الكلية ) دراسة جامعية، دراسات عليا ( كانت فروقاً بدرجات بسيطة و متوسطة، ترجع إلى فروق فردية بين الطلاب. وأوصت الـدراسـة بضـرورة توعــية المجـتمع الجـامعي بالأمية المعلوماتية، و أخطارها، و أهمية محوها، و لقد قامت الدراسة بوضع مقترح لمحو الأمية المعلوماتيـة لدى طـلاب المجتمع الجـامعي، لإعـدادهــم و إكسـابهم مهارات معلوماتية و ثقافية و معرفية. Abstract The thesis considers up information on illiteracy within university community at the Faculty of Arts، University of Alfie. The thesis aims at determining the effects and causes of information illiteracy among the students of the said faculty، the determination of library، research and technical skills of the students and the role of the librarian in the spread or cure of this aspect، as well as the determination of the obstacles facing the student researcher within his specialization . The thesis has used the (survey) technology، which is considered one of the basic methods in descriptive researches. A random sample is taken from among the arts students (university and higher study students) in the University of Alfie، numbering (347) university students and (163) students of higher studies. The chief finding of the thesis confirms the spread of information illiteracy among the students. The cause is the absence of awareness of the importance of research among the students of the sample، the registration of all research stages together with an organization and evaluation of the information resulting from the research and the absence of language skills among the students. The differences that have appeared among the students (university as well as higher studies students) were slight and average pertaining to individual differences among the students. The thesis recommended raising the level of the student's awareness of the meaning، perils and importance of information illiteracy. The thesis has also recommended a plan for countering information illiteracy among university students to enable them to acquire information، cultural and educational skills.
